From this experience emerges the book that concerns us, a linguistic-ethnographic study that not only compiles a glossary of more than 400 words, but also an analysis of the relationship between language and the fishermen's way of life, their habits, and of their way of communicating. Right after, the different fishing methods employed on the coast of Cadiz are described, itemized within the next chapters in Fishnet Arts, Fishing Hook Tackles, Trap Arts and Shellfishing Art. Thus, in Fishnet Arts, the terms employed in fishnet ensemble, enclosing and jareta, beach and pair-trawling are analyzed. In the chapter dedicated to the use of Fishing Hook Tackles, the doctor differentiates us the different terminologies concerning the parts of a hook, as well as the voices that are used to call the fishing line, the flotation elements, the ballast or the bait, distinguishing also the multiple hook types. In the Trap Arts, the study distinguishes four trapping varieties, pots, pitchers, almadrabas, and fishing pens.
